Hello! Anyone have experience with the [Michelin - Defender LTX M/S2] for an RIS 21" tire replacement. The original tires have about 22k miles and will need to be replaced soon. These tires are a second option at Costco for a better price and with a 75k mile rating. Thanks all!

Had these on my truck for about 24k miles so far, very happy with them. They ride really well, last winter they did very well in the snow here in the northeast also. Don't have anything negative to say about them. Rain, snow, dry aggressive handling is all there

Thank you for the info!!! Great to hear these are holding on well for you. Love the 70K rating vs. OEM :)

There are a couple threads around here about them. I got them a few thousand miles ago (Novato Costco), they've been great! No regrets, definitely a great decision over the stock Pirelli.

Awesome!!! Getting them at Costco as well, but will get them installed in Bend next week while visiting our kiddos... Thank you for sharing your experience so far!

Forgot to mention: I'm on an R1T rather than an S.

Initially, I liked everything except "sporty" handling, where they felt pretty bad (mushy & imprecise) when cornering. The last software update seems to have fixed that, so now I have zero complaints. They seem to have less resistance when steering, too.

As I mentioned, it's only been a few thousand miles so far, so I can't yet comment on wear, but I burned through 2 sets of Pirelli in 13k miles and then 15k, so I'm REALLY looking forward to either better mileage or their treadwear warranty.

I'm also happy with mine, although I've only had them for about 5k miles. I'd take them over the stock Pirelli's any day.
Seems like every car I've owned burns through OEM tires super fast :( Thanks for the share!

Mine are at 3-4mm after less than 8,000 miles. Looking to get a tread warranty as I had a rock puncture one, but fear I am not quite at the wear bars and warranty wont be accepted. I am going to stop by costco to see if they will help me out as I bought them online originally. Will probably just go with costco next time so I wont have to worry about the hassle of chasing down the warranty. So long story short, your mileage may vary :p

Yeah, definitely COSTCO IMO. Not messing with online, even if the price is a little better. I’ve learned my lessons 🤢

I purchased mine off of tire rack. Warranty for puncture is covered for 12 months and is super easy to claim as well. I go tirerack for all of my tire purchases and then utilize a mobile tire shop for mounting, balancing, disposal. Super convenient, especially since I work from home when I'm not traveling for work.

Just got these tires 2 weeks ago. My Pirellis lasted 38k miles. Heard good things about the Michelins and they were a lot cheaper at Costco. They have been great tires. Super quiet compared to the OEM. Maybe not as sporty though. I’m excited for the snow with these new tires.

Just had costco install them on our R1T. Just be mindful of the service at Costco. It's hit or miss depending on the tec
