I am running the Pirelli AS Plus 3 tires on 20 inch rims (275/60/20) and getting range and efficiency essentially identical to the 21s. About 350 mile range/2.45 m/kmh average in mixed driving.

Michelin LTX MS2, 275/60/20, on stock black AT wheels - seeing about 2.5 in mixed driving if you exclude vampire drain (I don't drive a ton, so it's a meaningful hit when the truck sits for 2-3 days).

If I go into Conserve and keep speeds around 60-65, I can see nearly 3 mi/kWh. It's awesome.

This is pretty similar to what I saw on the 21s when I had them for the first 5k miles, possibly better on flat ground at speed.

^ Do you have pics of what your truck looks like with the 275/60 tires on AT wheels? More of a wider view, not a pic of just the wheels.

Not the greatest shot, will take another when it's outside later. Height is set at Standard (not auto) so you get a sense of how it fills the wheel well:

That's not bad, not as good as an all terrain but not horrible. It does look better in this size vs a 34" tire though.

Dang, more decisions to make. I'm holding off until the update is live to see what it actually entails before I take the plunge on anything.

Here is an alternative. Goodyear Territory AT's on Atomic Wheels AW01 rims. Less minivan, more truck. Great combination of efficiency and curb appeal. This combo also saved a lot of weight over my factory 21's and even more over the factory 20 AT's.

Ok, so we have the PS3, the grabbers, and the Michelin lx2 in the 33" variant as the front-runners?

Those seem to be the winners for efficiency, at least what's been tested here by the commentariat.

I like the OE "all season" Goodyears a lot, but it does look like there's still a 10% penalty for range. Not a deal-killer at all and are 5%+ more efficient than the OE Pirellis (and I'm guessing a lot quieter over time).

So who has quantified the data for these? I've seen some polls for different tires by ksurfier.

I've posted a lot of my data in one of those threads and another I started when I bought the Goodyear Territory ATs. The problem for most is apples to apples comparison. I live in Texas and traffic is definitely going faster than most states so my mpk will be lower due to the higher speeds.

I put on my tires just as winter hit here so most of my running until recently has been in the cold. About 75% of my driving with them has been below freezing. I am currently at 2.24 mpk on my G1 quad. When I filter out the cold, I am at 2.52 currently. That does include a lot of rain and a lot of my drives are very short.

Sounds like the 2025 Kentucky Derby winner!

You have to control conditions, or at least state them, for comparison sake. We all know battery and external temps make the biggest difference, so please post those when testing. Below are conditions from my testing, I use the same loop when comparing tires.

-All 275/60R20 tires
-23.9mi round trip
-66mph highway speed
-All purpose/standard height/moderate feel/standard regen
-Battery temp: 73-82°F
-Exterior temp: 59-75°F
-Motor temp: consistent 140s front, 130s rear
-Tire pressure 48psi cold, 52psi warm
-AC on 65°F, recirc, 1 speed

Do the Rivian emblems fit with the AW wheels easily or did you have to do some modifications or use some alternative?

Thanks, I am pretty meticulous about what I track when testing and try and use the same route as much as I can. I also capture the windspeeds before, after, and during my tests whenever possible. I also try and change just one variable at a time if time permits to identify the impact it has.
