This. Had to paint one bolt black to match the rest.Does any one have them and if so what kind? And do you have pics too? Thanks
I have the same ones. The kit includes SS bolts in silver that are supposed to replace Rivian body bolts underneath. They are needed because they are longer. Unfortunately, you see them from behind and they stick out like a sore thumb. In my case, one of my Rivian bolts WAS longer (factory mistake?), so I reused that one and went to my local hardware store to get a black painted bolt. And to presuppose your next question, I have not noticed any detriment to range or efficiency.This. Had to paint one bolt black to match the rest.
I have the same ones. Easy install, and imo they look factory spec.
Yes, some stuff does come through those openings, but most of what would have ended up on my paint now does not.are you not still getting rocks through the 'aero' hole? Perhaps not with wheel angle, but I'm starting to get chips on my door. Cheers
bought a set. Have only installed the fronts so far. Easy to installWe make a set of slim mud flaps for the R1T/R1S if you want one more to compare - they sit low so they don't throw off the lines, and they catch most of the road spray and rock chips that'd otherwise end up on the lower doors and rockers. Saw the note in here about stuff still coming through the aero gap - flaps cut that down a fair bit. They're $44.95 a set: https://twraps.com/products/mud-flaps-for-rivian-r1t-r1s
