Oh wow.. 15%?
Is it sturdy? I would have guessed 25-33% infill for a structural part like a draw.

I see you cranked down the print speed which is reflected in the really nice build quality.

Again.. well done sir!!

At 15% it's very sturdy. Most of my prints I keep at 15% and haven't had any issues so far.

I'm going through the process of printing this out now that I'm caught up after Black Friday.

It appears to be somewhere around 500g of total filament and about 16 hours of total printing to make this go. Mine will be Black (darker than shown here and likely darker the the OEM really dark grey) and the Almost Compass yellow. I'm also going to do a TPU liner - likely in yellow or multi-color black and yellow. Hopefully I can use some of the Delrin pins that I used prior, too.

Also, FWIW, there is a ton of optimization that can be made to this to be more producible. Some sections are thicccc and the pins can likely be replaced by in-part printed nubs, assuming everyone uses a hard enough material.

Overall though, the model is lovely.

The Prusa Slicer software is the best I've used. I have another printer that was decent when I got it, but since then the slicer software hasn't been updated and other slicers don't support it. Prusa has regular firmware and slicer software updates.

My next printer will be the Creality K1 Max.
The Prusa slicer is a good one I agree.
Bambu Labs, an QidiTech use skinned version of Prusa slicer for their printers.

I know you are not asking me but black (i.e no accent) is the best to my eyes. :CWL:
Me too. The yellow was a bit too much and I was pleased by how close the 'standard' black I use mimics the OEM color.

FWIW - most people use Jet Black (#000000) for this. I used to use Flash Forge that was this black. I've since migrated to Polymaker which makes as both 'Jet Black' and Black (#292929). The latter is superior, IMHO and is what this was printed in.

I've been doing a bunch with color lately and I've found it really satisfying. :)
