Our R1S is in for service because the HVAC unit was soaking the front carpeting and was beginning to smell like mildew. With a ShopVac and fans I was able to dry the carpeting and then ran without A/C to keep it from happening again (including the 2-hour drive to take it to the SC in Gaithersburg MD). It was decidedly not comfortable, but, as the OP mentioned, my efficiency did improve!

My wife, who would not suffer without A/C, simply turned it on when she drove the car, but it didn't seem that short runs caused any carpet issues - only the longer drives (but I checked it after each time she took it out).

Reminds me of my college roommate and his white bedsheets. With no A/C in our dorm room, summertime temps ~100, his sheets turned yellow over time. Despite him repeatedly trying to convince us that’s just nightly sweat, we always gave him a hard time that he still peed his pants. Good times.

Drove 250 miles at 75mph the other day and averaged 2.3 mi/kw. Rivian's trip calculator was so confused. It initially estimated I would arrive to my destination with 10 miles to spare, but it read 57 at the end of the trip. That's in a quad with ATs

I have found setting cruise control at 72 mph I get about the same on my R1S QM

So your pic is for the 15min efficiency but what did the trip odo show for efficiency

I love shoulder seasons when I can get away with no AC or heat. Though I'm usually driving in the low 70 MPH range so 2.5mi/kWh on 20s.

I can't wait until we can update the wheel size in the UI and I can drop to 275/60r20
