My evil twin having a bad morning... R1S crash

I don't know for sure that he's evil, but since I'm good I assume he's the evil one.

My friends will text me once or twice a week that they saw me somewhere that I wasn't.

I finally saw the other white R1S, roof racks, same wheels and tires, but sadly it got into an apparent disagreement with a 4runner, about a half block from my house.

The picture from the rear was taken looking west. I think maybe the R1S was heading south through the intersection and was clipped by the eastbound 4runner (which would have been driving into the sunrise). The R1S wound up turned 90 degrees to the west, and the 4runner spun 180 degrees facing the direction it came from.

Not sure who ran the red light, but hopefully the drive cam will help.

Fortunately, no. My wife left the house first, and called me about it on her way to work. It's seriously maybe half a block, and if you've seen my wife drive you'd know that even as quick as the Rivian is, nobody would've had time to jump in it after she left, pass her, and have a wreck.

Kind of amazed the airbags didn't pop on that 4Runner. Can't tell if any did on the Rivian.

It wasn't me--You and I met briefly when you were kind enough to give me a tour of your R1T while I was waiting for the R1S.

I did meet a local broker (ironically driving a 4runner IIRC) who waved me down one day last spring because he had an R1S on order. I gave him a tour, and I -think- he had the same spec ordered. This might have been him.

Still a bummer.

Why is the Rivian on the wrong side of the street? Was it pushed there by the hit?

From the images it seems the 4runner hit the R1S at the right rear and continued up the right rear quarter. It certainly looks totaled (both). Mistakes are easy to happen and we don’t know the circumstances. I hope it all gets sorted out for everyone.
