My manual tonneau is being shipped

First time I receive a shipping confirmation email from the Riv team, though it should be for everything I order. ETA 3 - 7 biz dias. Can't wait to see how it works.

Whelp, not for me. Got a delivery window that they missed and was told this morning they have paused shipments as there was an issue with them going to the wrong addresses - they hope to resume shipments in a few days.

I've also seen my delivery window come and go, but what annoys me, is that I had to call them up to find what was going on? And even then, they weren't really sure what the issue was.

Just send me an email saying "we've fucked up, sorry, but we're on it" and I'll be cool with that. Massively sandbag your delivery window if you're not sure or just say, "tbc". I get frustrated when they overpromise and underdeliver. Their comms need work.

I am a bit annoyed also. My delivery window was 11/10 - 11/15. Today is 11/18 and nothing. what happened to all those items they promised as they launch Rivian such as camp kitchen, gear tunnel shuttle, automatic tonneau cover, etc. The only reason I bought this truck was because I was hooked on camp kitchen concept. As soon as I saw that in combination with tent I was sold.

Now without all those items above my car just sits inside the garage. I've picked up R1T back in January and my car has only 450 miles.

My delivery window came and went as well. What’s aggravating is it appears lots of people got theirs weeks and months ahead of their window. I chatted with support asking if there was an issue and they just said they are backed up and it should go out soon. Ok, that’s a fair response months ago, but you just sent out windows and sent them in the wrong order. I’m about to hit 10 months waiting for this.

You can't drive your truck without a tent or a camp kitchen? Do you get hungry often?

I bought R1T as a leisure vehicle. Since I retired I thought I would start doing some camping/offroad adventure with R1T. I prefer to drive my Tesla Model S for normal driving. Model S is much easier to drive around the town and park.

Those who have been waiting the shortest received theirs and the ones waiting the longest did not. I’m sure that this was a mistake. I too wish they’d acknowledge it, apologize, and throw a hat or something into the box when they ship it.

I love my truck and I drive it as my daily driver, but I also agree with the frustration about accessories. Many of the things that made this truck REALLY cool that I originally ordered have not come to fruition. Camp kitchen, powered tonneau, key wristband, have not made it to market. I would encourage Rivian to give us updates. Promises of summer have come and gone with no word. It won’t change how much I love my truck, but I also want to see this stuff.

Good time to visit owner guide for instruction, so you don’t break it through misuse like some did. They don’t ship with instructions.

Same issue. My window expired on 11/13 and I haven't heard a thing!! Super annoying.
