My R1T towing experience; spoiler: it was awesome

I've towed my Kendon trailer around 50 times with different trucks over the past 10 years.

A few weeks ago I used my R1T to tow the trailer a short distance and made a video of it start to finish.

Overall this was the easiest towing experience I've ever had. Part of it due to my new hitch which I love. But mostly due to how great the cameras are and how well the truck handles with a trailer attached.

I do have a couple of items on my wish list that I think RIVIAN could address with software:

1) It would be great to be able to to run a light test with a single button rather than having to go back and forth to test all the lights.
2) I would love if they could somehow combine the image from the rear and the bed camera to give you a "Towing view". I bet this is possible and it would easily make the R1 the best towing EV.

I would love a super slow reverse mode in order to ease back slowly before hitching.

I’d hope the truck would tow well given it’s at 10% of the rated capacity.

If Rivian/EVs in general could solve the range limitations they’d be the best tow vehicles on the market.
