Navigation Range to destination goes up vs down!!!

Just this past week my trip range indicator was first 10 miles off in range arrival and now it’s showing an increase in battery percentage!!!

anyone else experiencing this issue?

Did this happen as you were driving? If you end up driving more efficiently than it thought you would, the % remaining (or miles available) on arrival number will go up. Happens to me all the time.

If it's saying you'll get there with a higher SoC than what you are currently at and you won't be charging on the way, that's a bug.

My arrival range changes all the time. Battery temp and driving habits can affect this greatly.

Do you have a big downhill stretch prior to the destination? I've had range increase after coming down mountains.

Oh fun - mine did this for a while, too. It was hilarious.

Some weird artifact after the .46.0 update. Reset should solve it.

FYI for those who didn't experience it - the dash and nav guess-o-meters would be equal when setting off and using nav to a destination. Then, over time, for every mile you lost in range as you drove, you gained a mile in the "range at arrival" gauge on the nav.

Two big factors from day to day estimate, temperature and wind. Consider a mild 10 mph tail wind verses head wind. For the R1 that's like driving 50 mph verses 70 mph wind resistance. I see big differences based upon these two factors.
