I've been very happy with the BestEVMod liner. Super rugged, fits perfectly, holds things in place and is easy to take out if you want to clean it.

Hi all,

Need a bed mat that is rugged. Something thick and heavy. I’ve had a rough country bed mat in the past with my Ram but not finding anything that is rugged. Finding a lot of thin bed mats with tons of ribs which is gonna to suck keeping it clean. Something that is 3/8 thick??? If you found something let me know
Look at rubber mats at Tractor supply.

Yes - it’s easy to trim with a sharp utility knife from backside.

Here is the non-Amazon link for those of us who refuse to use Amazon: https://ev-vida.store/products/rivian-r1t-truck-bed-mat-liner-foldable-from-bestevmod

I wish I had known about this prior to getting my truck. The bed is scared and scratched now. I worry about it because it is leased. Oh, well. I plan to argue with them (if necessary) that it is normal wear and tear. Why buy a truck if you don't use the bed?

I too have the Tractor Supply stall mat. I cut it to length to fit snugly and the pleasant collateral consequence of that is that now, when I release the tailgate, it pops open slightly. If I'm parked uphill, the tailgate opens itself (but doesn't do so with a "slam").

As others have noted, it IS heavy. If you're using your spare tire well for something besides a spare tire and want to access it "regularly", this will be a PITA.

It also STINKS ...throw a little Dawn on it and rinse it a couple of times (in the bed) and leave the tonneau open for it to dry in the sun. That will help, otherwise the garage, the truck, and the meringue pies your wife left cooling in the kitchen window will all smell like rubber.

+1 for a horse stall mat.

I've used them on multiple trucks and they always last a long time with lots of abuse. As @JohnB R1T mentioned, if you buy them new they can stink. A quick rinse in Dawn will do wonders. I've also just taken it through a car wash right after buying and it took the initial stink out. I would NOT buy it and instantly park in your garage.
