I purchased the Lectron adapter from Lectron on the 8/21, on 8/26 they said it was delivered. I checked my mailbox and nothing, I have one of those centralized mail bins with the locker. I reached out to them via email multiple times and all i get is check your mailbox, been back and forth with their so call rep who is no help at all.

In other words, one of the worst customer services I have encountered. They refuse to help, refund or send another item. He is telling me i have to contact the USPS myself and figure it out.

Be careful buying from them if it gets lost in the mail you are on your own, my next step is to dispute the purchase.

File a charge back with your CC. While USPS and UPS do loose a lot of packages (about 4% in my experience) Lectron should know better and insure them so they can provide a free replacement if that happens.

PS I also have the Lectron and it works well.

I've hit this problem before, once the USPS carrier marks it as delivered, no matter where that may be, how secure the location, and in my case having doorbell camera footage showing a theft just minute later and clearly following the mailman around, USPS considers it legally no longer their responsibility.

Larger retailers will just eat the cost and re-ship, but smaller ones are usually not prepared to do that. Filing a police report and then trying to get purchase protection from your CC company to cover the loss is about the only option.

I just disputed the purchase, i also called the USPS and they are looking into it. It was mentioned that smart business owners would have put a $5 insurance that would have covered the loss.
