to get iphone app number go - Account icon>manage account (under name)>scroll all the way down (below “Legal”). Mine shows 2.5.0 but does not present the updated choices yet as I haven’t gotten the vehicle update (I guess)

Yep. Waypoint routing would have been *REALLY* nice. I was just glad the improve tow mode got added during my trip.

Now I just want to be able to plan trips *for tow mode*. Because the planning ahead is useless when it tries to have me go 230 miles between chargers. (I found A Better Route Planner with a vehicle profile set to my efficiency when towing did a great job. It sure would be nice if there was some better ABRP-Rivian integration!)
Crazy that there is not especially since Rivian owns ABRP!

Ahhh, just posted in another thread about this.
But wanted to know if anyone can shared photos of the widgets for iOS. As Rivian told me the new version has it but I cannot see them because apparently my truck isn’t updated yet?

makes no sense why widgets can’t show up.
For instance, BMW and Tesla has awesome widgets. I want to see Rivian with the same features.

Rivian R1T R1S New iOS App Update v2.5.0! IMG_3312

Those with an iPhone, normally to add widget you just hold finger on screen til icons shake and + appears in top left. Press that +
then choose app with widget and add to screen. BMW has a lot of options, Tesla has a basic one, and Rivian has nada darn thing. But would be weird if it’s unlocked once my truck gets newer update but if that’s the case. Whatever. Can others share what the iOS widgets look like? How many are there? And can they be organized in small widgets or is it a basic one like Tesla?

They are not widgets they are shortcuts. Go to the shortcuts app, click add and go to the application tab.

Ok, thanks for clarifying. Had high hopes for widgets over shortcuts. Just saying….

Please please please can “turn on cabin preconditioning” be one of the new iOS shortcuts?

I think about this everyday. Just let us save a preset conditioning. Or add another mode than “pet mode” make it “running errands mode” or something. At least let us turn on pet mode from our phone.

Wish they just make a nice and today widget for iOS users. Shortcuts are a mess imo. And no preconditioning? Most used feature for most ev users? Or should be if you are not using this.
I do agree about the Pet mode too… we bought this R1T for our dog and thought these features would be more comparable to a Tesla. But I guess not. Would ideally like to have a camera in the interior for pets. But not even sure one exists in the R1T or not.
But minimal… having to turn in pet mode through the phone is a nice feature if they can implement
