This looks unstable for use with a traditional pivoting floor jack. Since the raising arm of the jack swings in an arc as it lifts there is a horizontal thrust placed on the puck. The shorter puck is roughly square (comparing base diameter to overall puck height), whereas this is closer to 2.5:1. I’m sure it’s been tested by the producer, but word of caution to anyone using it to make sure the floor jack moves freely during a lift otherwise that thrust could cause the puck to overturn and drop the load.
