This is fun.

When the music is set to radio, and is turned off, it will automatically turn on when I change gear selection from park to drive, drive to park, drive to reverse, reverse to park, or reverse to drive. I haven’t tried transitions to or from neutral yet but don’t care to.

Yes, you can eliminate by changing music modes, but I like to just hit the left thumb button to mute while talking and or doing things like backing up. Going into the interface for that seems dumb.

Anyone else seeing this odd behavior? It’s enormously irritating.

That would be extremely annoying.

Is this like trading cards?

I'll give you the "can't select favorite with the steering wheel" for "automatically turning the radio on when shifting gears"

Ha! Interestingly, I -can- select favorites from the steering wheel using the l/r buttons on the left side. I didn’t know that was a problem for people. Yay, software!

Heading out to do a reset in a minute. I shall report back - maybe my favorites-selector will crap out, too.

It was something they fixed in the last update. I haven't had a chance to test it as I'm waiting to pick up my Rivian from service.

Software reset took care of the bug. But now I’ve lost all my presets.

Yes mine does that after the 6.5 update, it also was unmunting the radio everytime I opened a door.

Before I did the reset, I tried some other behaviors - like you, mine would unmute when the door opened. But if I muted it with the door open, and left the door open, it would unmute -again-. Repeatedly. And if I had it muted when I closed the door? Same deal - unmute again.

Reboot works to get rid of this though.
