Well done.

An acquaintance worked on the customer/public end with local government. Of course, everyone hates the government for one reason or another. So most people are angry enough after waiting, and it becomes a place to vent all their frustrations. They take it out on the front-line staff.
Convinced them that the stress effect and their health weren't worth the extra $50/month on the pension. so they retired early.

Long story short, what you did was great. And you get more with sugar than salt, absolutely!

As a stockholder this is absolutely great to see...At this point Rivian is a tech and customer service company more so than actually manufacturing vehicles...

If they get the tech right and keep people informed/happy - that will translate into long term success.

I'll note that I've been very kind to customer service as well and well they just booked a test drive for me and to boot...there was some miscommunication through e-mail happening for locations/dates and the customer service rep Kelsey actually went out of her way and CALLED me. That was a first for me... I didn't ask for a call but she took that upon herself...

Kelsey if your listening - thank you. I've been kind...and I also like free stuff!!

Spoke with customer service via chat the other day and was my typical engaging self. I always believe in the "you catch more bees with honey than vinegar" message and always try to treat everyone with respect and humor. I told a couple of jokes on the chat and while I didn't get the answers I wanted, it wasn't her fault and she was super helpful. This showed up at my door today - huge customer service win. They certainly have a fan for life. Totally unexpected.
