No More Unlock Owl Sound?

Only Halloween Mode had any unlock sound. Outside of that, there never was any unlock sound, ever.

I swear there was a noise too. But behold, Here is a video from the very beginning. No unlock noise.

Yeah, I spent an hour pouring through videos to find the sound as well. I have, similarly, come to the same conclusion as you; there really never was an unlock sound.

On Halloween night last year, my truck stopped playing the unlock sound. I put in a ticket and never really heard of a resolution or troubleshooting plan. I finally took my truck into the shop (for other things, not the unlock sound) and the resolution was that at some point Rivian removed the unlock sound. They said none of the vehicles on the lot played the unlock sound anymore.

I'm a little skeptical about this, so I thought I would set up a poll.

Unlock sound was sound of actuators presenting door handle(s). The chirp was only for confirming lock, which can be turned silent in vehicle settings.

I turned it off long ago. If they allow us to choose between it or the Halloween owl, I would pick the owl in blink. The bird is… pedestrian.

I would like it to be tied to the photo sensor so it does the chirp during the day and the owl at night to better reflect on nature. ?

That's exactly what I proposed to Wassym over a year ago. And he like the idea then. Yet, here we are. They can even implement it according to the clock.
