Noisy louvers

Anyone else notice the noisy louvers that open and close periodically in the small grill area just above the front bumper? They tend to open whenever I walk near the truck for a short amount of time and then close. I realize it’s part of the cooling system but it sounds pretty ridiculous and kind of cheap for a high price truck. Anyone else?

i also had this problem. I walked into my closed garage with my cell phone to get something in the freezer. The truck woke up and groaned. It was so loud it startled me. I thought my garage door spring was about to break :).

I originally thought it was the suspension until I saw the louver moving.

I took it into service and they lubed it. the service rep said this is a common problem. I haven't heard it since.

Yeah you just have to lubricate the joints carefully with some dry lube. It doesn't take much and the sound completely goes away. There's a video of someone showing you where to do so on here. Took me 30 seconds
