At 1430 on Wednesday, 6/11, my R1T displayed a message stating the need to replace my 12v battery (the truck was delivered 18 mos ago). I called Rivian service, and by 1530 the Colorado Springs Service Center (a lovely 320 mile drive from my home) had arranged to expedite a new battery to the mobile tech out of Albuquerque (220 mi from my home) and schedule him to be at my home on Friday. This is extraordinary service!

Speaking of 12V batteries, I just got the following text message:

" We’re reaching out about your Rivian. We identified a need to inspect your vehicle for a potential issue that could result in being unable to access or drive your vehicle—and may even require a tow. Schedule an appointment with your local Rivian Service Center. This is covered under warranty at no cost to you."

Turns out the bracket that holds the 12V battery in place on some '25 R1Ts is defective, may fail, and cause the battery to become detached. Mobile service has been dispatched to my house to repair the defect.
