Ocean Coast Interior - How quickly does it stain?

I have an opportunity to get a Demo R1S with an Ocean Coast Interior. I've always kept away from light/white interiors because they usually stain or look bad after a couple of years. For those of you that have an ocean coast interior. What is your honest opinion on how that color holds up to daily use. I know you can ceramic coat. But I'm still concerned about blue jean stains and such.

Mines has a little bit of jean staining but you realy have to look for it, its been a couple months now. Mud wipes off pretty good

I coated mine 6 months so far no issues.

The only thing that I have found that causes what I would describe as a stain is blue jean dye. Everything other than blue jean dye wipes off with regular cleaning (damp cloth or at most damp-soapy cloth)

It bothers me enough that I have made a conscious effort to wear dark jeans less frequently. And when I do notice the seats starting to turn blue I have found rubbing alcohol and some vigorous rubbing is able to remove most of it.

I've driven all of the colors (service loaners). Even with the risk of bluejean stains, there is no chance I would get anything else if I were to buy it again. Ocean Cost is the clear winner for me.

Yes it will stain a little, but nothing that standard cleaner or wipes etc cannot clean up.

We have two kids under 4, and I have no issues in keeping it clean with that interior.

It cleans up great. I haven’t had anything that didn’t come right out. I had the same concerns with having 4 kids plus running carpools with other kids and haven’t had any issues with stains or cleanup.

Great feedback from everyone!

I briefly saw an Ocean Coast interior at a Rivian store a few weeks back but i didn't pay much attention to it because all along my car buying journey for a Rivian I've been highly focused on trying to get the green interior (which soon will be discontinued) or the black interior.

I know it's not exactly a bright white interior like the white you might find in a Tesla. From what I remember it was more like a very light gray-blue color. I may be wrong about this; but this is what I recall. Yesterday I was able to hold a demo R1S with the green exterior and this ocean coast interior. I also have a black R1S with black interior. Trying to decide between the two.

Anyone willing to share up close photos of your ocean coast seats? in particular your driver's seat? Just want to get the best look at the actual color of the seats and what I can expect in terms of wear and tear after several months of day to day usage.

Remember you can always ceramic coat the interior for added protection

I have had my ocean coast almost two years now i was one of the first. I did the ceramic protectant on the leather. Its held up great I did notice some blue on the driver's seat after buying some new jeans. Some leather cleaner took it off no problem.

Ocean Coast is great. I drive almost every day, and in jeans in cooler weather in Va. No casually noticeable stains after 18 months and 22k miles. I will never have another black interior. Now to just find light color matts that fit...

I’ve had mine for a year. So far all spills have wiped off easily: no regrets. Biggest issue has been sunscreen on the black door panels, which takes months of work to remove, and the white chiliwick floor mats. I found that car wash soap and a pressure washer fixed the mats pretty well.

Really like my ocean coast - living in the south, no way am I going with dark interior. Have 40,000 miles on my R1T and love it. Stains have not been a problem - however I do not wear jeans very often and no kids or dogs. I found that the center arm rest is most likely to get dirty. I use car guys super cleaner - works better than anything else I've used.

12 months in and no stains. I use Meguire's Auto leather cleaner and protector.
