I spilled some tea on the seat and immediately wiped it up, but it left a very prominent stain. Then I tried using some non-alcohol baby wipes, which is what I have used for 7 years of ownership of white tesla interiors. That did not work at all. I tried a little soapy water, and again, no luck. Then I tried lexol leather cleaner, and again no luck. I am at a loss. I should add that I have had 3 tesla's with white interiors, and the oldest one, over 6 years, looks like new. I have spilled coffee, tea, hot chocalte, a couple drops of blood, melted chocolate, etc on the Tesla seats over the years, and the interior looks like new, just using baby wipes. It's hard to believe that a few drops of tea could leave such a large and ugly permanent stain. Please share any advise or experience getting out a tea stain. Thank you.

I don’t have OC interior, but since it is already light colored I would try some hydrogen peroxide and baking soda.

Barkeepers friend. Make a paste (if using the non liquid version) and scrubb a little with a brush and then let it sit for like 5 min, a little more scrubbing and wipe off. There is a chance you make it lighter than the rest of the leather, but I'm pretty sure it will get rid of the rest of the stain and be less noticeable than the stain.

I do a lot of cycling and several times have had small cuts and scraps on legs, arms and hands that bleed aa bit and get blood stains on the seat.

I use CarPro Inside and scrub with a soft boar hair brush then wipe with a microfiber towel. That’s worked for the liquid stains I’ve experienced on my OC. However, I have yet to try it on blood….

I've gotten blood and coffee, and some (still unidentified) substance on my seats that my 9-year-old swears he had nothing to do with...despite being on his seat

Cockpit premium (non-affiliate link: https://www.amazon.com/nextzett-92470515-Cockpit-Premium-16-9/dp/B0002Z2MZ4) and some elbow grease has taken care of all of them--my OC interior still looks new.

If I really need to scrub, Simple Green does the trick, too.

Other than those two products (and when I had Alcantera leather interior on previous vehicles--using a nice leather conditioner), I literally use nothing else for interior detailing.

@tate16t Admittedly, the stains I’ve experienced are mild and tea/coffee are stronger, but I have gotten coffee spots off the seat with this method. However, the other consideration is if the stain has seeped into the perforated portion of the seat. That could be a problem for sure.

Can you please provide some details about what did the staining (hot black tea with lemon, cold green tea with honey, etc.) and can you please post a pic showing the stain and surrounding area for comparison? I think it can help to provide as much information as possible to prevent people from trying to solve the wrong problem.

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. I will start with what seem like the most simple and low-risk (of making things worse) options. It was black tea with a bit of lemon. I am away for a couple of weeks so will not be able to post a picture, but will do so upon my return.
