• Aug 10 - filled out the tax rebate commitment form
• Aug 11 - email to confirm delivery address
• Aug 12/13 - access to Rivian Shop
• Aug 16 - call (scheduled by me) with my guide; confirmed my configuration during the call
• Aug 16 - signed preliminary buyer's agreement
• Aug 17 - email to "Prepare for Digital Purchasing Process"

I thought this last one was the fabled 8-step process opening up, but it turns out to just be a link to some instructions on what the steps include and what supporting documents I need to have prepared. I don't think I'd heard of others mentioning this sub-step (or maybe I just completely missed it).

I got the "prepare for digital purchasing process" email last night and then my 8 steps email came this morning. I would assume you will have it s00n.

Similar timeline for me over the last few days. Just received the "prepare for digital purchasing process" email tonight. Hoping to see the 8 steps tomorrow same as you...... trying not to get hopes up.

Confirmed delivery for Tue 8/23 at Bellevue SC. My guide reached out to say SC can deliver Sat or Mon if I finalize payment and insurance tomorrow. Hmmm...thoughts folks?

How did it go from "Rail ship eta late Sep." to Late Aug btw? Thats a month ahead of schedule lol - did they match you with another car of the same spec?

How did it go from "Rail ship eta late Sep." to Late Aug btw? Thats a month ahead of schedule lol - did they match you with another car of the same spec?

They were for sure sandbagging for what must be unknown variables with rail shipment. 3 weeks actual from IL to WA vs 8 weeks estimate, I'll take it!

Ended up accidentally sending the purchase summary vs the PBA to my bank so wire will go out Monday. Ended up being a good thing as it gives me time to empty out and clean my filthy truck before trade in time with Rivian.

I completed most of my 8 steps process this morning. They told me my truck has been built and a vin has been assigned. I'm just waiting now to be notified about my delivery schedule. (Oh...I finally get the OC interior I have been waiting for!)

Based on that, my guess is that it could arrive in October, or earlier. But the best part is that it's on the way.
