Happened to me yesterday morning too. My phone was disabled, so I had to re load the Rivian app in my phone. Problem is when trying to remove and reload the app, the new app wanted an app to upload the app? It said "App needed to turn on blue tooth" It get's a bit worrisome, wondering if your truck is going to throw you under the bus. Later that day about 6 pm, I was in town and my phone would not unlock the truck again. I did my usual tapping hard on the phone screen and cursing, after 5 min. the door unlocked.I've had my R1T for 1.5 years and this has happened to me. I use my phone as my key. After an upgrade or something, my phone didn't open my car and I had to use my card. When I parked the vehicle, I just walked away as I normally do and it didn't lock since my phone synching to my car didn't work. I didn't even check. I showed back up some hours later with less battery and Spotify still playing. Now I have a tone to let me know that my truck didn't lock but it happens. A software reset fixed the issue (or I could have used the FOB or card).
Easy on the cell glass, while easier than a visit to the SC, it still costs money.
