Does anyone else miss the occasional need to take your foot off the accelerator without going into a braking nose dive?

I get the need to regenerate but having to constantly feather the pedal to adjust for traffic (without driver+) leaves me occasionally missing that feeling of coasting.

Would be nice to have a lite/no option for regen.

Yes. My wife tends to not drive the truck because of this.

Just engage ACC for a brief break.

Interesting idea but daily downtown stop-and-go traffic makes it challenging.

Maybe the solution id to move to wide open spaces and get out of the urban dystopia.

I find the shoes can make a difference.. my sneakers are much more comfortable to drive in then my hard ankle supporting boots.

Not in Seattle traffic. It horrendous.
Okay Seattle traffic is worse than Portland but Portland sucks too. And honestly, I don’t know why you can’t use ACC. Except people sneaking in because you leave a car gap I really enjoys ACC in traffic. I5 north from portland to Washington border may be the slowest freeway in the country and ACC to just relax makes a commute so much nicer.
