Optimum charging approach for long term storage

I parked my R1S LE QM in my garage hooked to my rivian charger where it will sit while I am out of town for a few months. I capped the power at about 4KW and set it to only charge in a few hour window each day to take advantage of solar power (since my net metering stinks). I also set the max charge level to 50%. Anyway, been gone almost 2 weeks and seems like the energy consumed is higher than last year when I did this. Last year when I didn’t have solar I had the charge limit set to 70%, with no charge schedule or max power limit so it would charge at about 10KW. I know the $ amounts are probably trivial (about 4.5 KWH/Day vs. last year at about 2 KWH/day per my old man memory) but I am wondering if having it charge at lower current cap consumes more overall energy due to the steady state computer overhead during charging vs quickly charging then sleeping. Also any thoughts about leaving it at 70% vs 50% would be appreciated. Thanks!

50% should be better for health, but probably not measurably.

Technically a lower charge current will extend the time the truck will be awake, and during that time there will be more power consumed. I'd let it charge as fast as it can.

Thanks, I think I’m going to do a test the next two weeks and take off the schedule and limit. And see how many KWH it consumes vs. the prior two weeks.
