You did not receive a delivery window back in November when you still had a Max pack configured?

That's really strange and annoying.

If you're saying that you haven't received an updated estimate after you changed your from Max to large pack configuration, then that's totally normal. As far as I know, nobody has received any updated windows since November.
I am not sure I would call it "normal" but I never received one to begin with. All I ever received was an email back in November that said if I dropped the Max pack I would be "eligible" for an "early 2022 delivery based on my early pre-order status".

I changed to the standard pack the very next day and that was the last I ever heard from them on the subject. Since we are coming up on May, I think I can safely say I won't be getting an early 2022 delivery but I have not been asking for that. All I have been requesting from them is a delivery window. When I call them, they tell me my account does not show one but that I should be getting one "soon". They have been saying that since mid-February. I gave up on expecting the early delivery, I just want a dang delivery window. It is all extra frustrating since the only reason I selected the Max Pack, to begin with, was they originally said it would be the first type out the door. Just another of a long list of changes in direction with little to no communication.

I'm in the same boat. I have no delivery window other than sometime in 2022 after they convinced me to change my Max pack to a large pack. It may be because I'm in Canada. My pre-order was May 2019 - Adventure R1T.

Join the club. I have an early December 2018 pre-order for an RT1 and I still don't have a delivery window either. I have called them twice and emailed 3 times over the last 2-to 3 months and all I get is more scripted BS about how I "should see it soon" BS. To add insult to injury a guy I talked into getting one of these who lives nearby who ordered hs 4 months after me in mid-2019 took delivery last week. Then they drove another knife into my back by stopping by my house last weekend for a "first drive" to tease me about something they won't even tell me when I will get.

My summation of the First Drive BTW, is that the truck is absolutely AWESOME, unfortunately, the company and their communication process is an absolute embarrassing JOKE and even if I do get one someday, they have pretty much ruined their long term relationship with me forever.
Maybe they got confused when you said RT1? Rivian only sells an R1T ?

I dunno if I should feel relief or get mad, but good to hear am NOT the only one in this ..
For the record, I have not changed my order for the R1S ( Launch edition ). except for the color. and that was long ago in 2020
I have another R1T and I got a window in July -Sept 2022 ... (I can't explain how this NON LAUNCH edition ( ordered in 2020 ) has a window and my Launch edition window is nowhere to be found.

Yes I am receiving e-mails ( non with a delivery date, not even an estimate ) ... and yes i am in communication with someone there, but getting nothing except "wait it will come for sure".

Just use the chat function from the website.

I just chatted with CS and I pretended I lost my Delivery Window email. They knew the correct window date and told me write away. It took two minutes.
I changed mine from a max pack to a large pack and did the same thing to see if they updated my delivery window on their end. It was quick and easy. My delivery window has not updated and is still first half of 2023.

Well, it is nice to know I am not the only one being tossed around by Rivian but yesterday may have been the breaking point for me. I passed one of my neighbors driving his new FG RIT and he gleefully waved at me as if to rub it in as I know for a fact, he ordered his in March of 2019 as compared to my December 2018.

I have to say, after mumbling several explicative comments about Rivian under my breath, I realized what a dumb ass I was being, and I came to grips with the fact that it’s time to call it quits with my crazy girlfriend called Rivian.

I tried to imagine the world about 5 years from now when all the other companies like Ford and Dodge catch up to Rivian. I almost laughed out loud when I thought about how I could never picture myself walking into a Ford dealer in 2024, test driving a new Ford Lightning, then handing them $1K of my money, and then expecting to wait 4 years for the truck. Worse yet, during those 4 years have the model I purchased change dramatically, the features I paid for disappear, the price go up, the price go down and then watching my neighbors who came to the same dealership a year after me drive their trucks around while Ford sends me a scripted email once every few months to tell me “soon”. I would never put up with such ridiculous crap from any company. The whole thing actually sounds a little insane yet here I am doing exactly that. For some reason, it seemed worth it when I thought I would be one of the very first people to own one of these but knowing they will be somewhat common by the time I get one has made them lose a great deal of their shine from my perspective. I know, that sounds a little silly but I guess it is human nature.

So, I am done complaining, I am done calling them, and I am done looking to the internet for some clue as to when I might actually get the damn truck. I have come to grips with the fact that despite being one of the very first people to take a risk on their product and serving as one of their first-class “fanboys” for years I am probably looking at early 2023 to get my truck. That of course assumes that the supply issues don’t get any worse. However, considering the price increase I would be a fool to cancel at this point. I will take their truck when they get around to selling it to me but I will keep my ICE truck as well. I will treat it as a temporary “friends with benefits” situation and I will drive it around for a month or two until the novelty wears off and then I will flip it to someone way back in the end of the 83K preorder line and consider the profit to be payment for putting up with their crap for 4 years. In the meantime, I will stay in line for the Ford Lightening and hope they do a better job of fulfilling their side of the purchase bargain.

You might say I am officially breaking up with my crazy hot truck girlfriend. I guess I am breaking up with you Rivian. We are now just friends but trust me, it’s me not you.

Why do you think a 2023 delivery. Sure some people who ordered theee months after you are getting g theirs and I understand the frustration but 2023 is still over 8 months away and that is many thousands of R1Ts.

Because as someone screwed by their Max Pack delivery production change, right now when I contact Rivian I am told that I am "scheduled for a mid-2023" delivery but "eligible" for early 2022. Based on that and the fact that early 2022 has already essentially passed without a word, not to mention everything I have read the last few weeks regarding Rivian’s missed production goals and continued supply chain issues, I have to believe that 2023 is likely. Besides, by assuming 2023 I will be pleasantly surprised if by some reason is shows up this year, however unlikely that might be.

Ok that is fair. I did. It realize you were one of the max pack people.

Think you'll change your mind when you get yours. So far very impressed, not just with the truck, but with support when I needed it.

Maybe there is a configuration issue. I have read that some interior colors are delayed.
