We are currently traveling in the Airstraem in Vermont. We don't expect to be back home for another month or so. Our R1T, named Opal, is at home in the Florida Panhandle. Opal is in the garage and set at max 50% charge and is on a 120 volt charge. There already has been one OTA update (2023.30.0) since our departure. As we would like to be with her when she receives updates, we have not pushed the latest update.

Are we correct in doing this? Also, if there is another update while we are away, can we put that off also?

You can apply whenever you want. The R1T loaner I had was 3 releases behind. I applied them while I had it. I only saw one update at a time, once I applied the one prompting it was a day or 2 before the next one prompted to install.

I honestly would leave it as is. There is always the slight chance that the charger may not reconnect after an update and require an unplug / replug. Delaying a SW update isn’t an issue, letting your vehicle drain for over a month is as your 12v battery may die.

Thanks for the info guys. I think that we will leave Opal alone and handle the update(s) when we return to Florida.
