Black is 100% a labor of love. Micro scratches will be easier to see on darker paint.
PPF and Ceramic coating along with pressure washer, foam cannon and battery operated leaf blower make it easier / less labor intensive.
These are the prices I have seen in Dallas Fort-Worth from various vendors for Full / Partial PPF.
Reach out to me if you're in DFW / Texas and need advice or recommendations for PPF / Vinyl / Windshield Protection Film / Llumar / Formula One Pinnacle tint.
I got my Stek Clear full body PPF done by Shield by Design in DFW who has the PPF contract for all high end dealers like Ferrari / Lamborghini / Mclaren. You can mentioned MidnightRivian for the exclusive forum packages / discounts or reach out to me for more details.

Full PPF
$5,000 for below average using in house brands and not wrapping edges.
$6,300 - $6,800 on average for brand names like Stek / XPEL.
$7,000 - $7,500 on average for Stealth including head lights, fog lights, tail lights and door sills.
$750 - $1,000 to have the entire vehicle (wheels, calipers, Glass, Body / Plastic Cladding Trim) ceramic coated.
$750 - $1,000 upcharge for 10 mil thick DynoMight PPF (off-roading PPF).
Partial PPF
You can go with just the front half and that will run between $1800 - $2800.
All depends on how much coverage you want like just basic like 1/3 - 1/2 coverage which is bumper / hood / fenders / mirrors with head lights and fog lights.
The next options is full coverage without A pillars or include A pillar and top edge of roof.
Some PPF have hydrophobic properties to make it easier to clean like ceramic coating. You can always add ceramic coating on top of PPF and for sure add it for ocean coast interior.
Reach out if you're in Dallas - Fort Worth and I can point you in the right direction and let you know which shops have forum pricing available.
Here is my vehicle with full Stek PPF wrap with edges, door sills and lights along with ceramic coating on PPF, Wheels, Windows, Plastic Cladding and interior.
I decided to use PPF like Stek which has hydrophobic properties built in to help with making it easier to wash. I would also recommend doing the door sills and maybe even go one step further and add DCE door sill protectors.
