Not sure exactly what happened, but I'd look for a great paint/body shop in your area, not necessarily a Rivian shop.

Maybe Rivian hired the best local body/paint people in the area and I'm off base, but get the best regardless.

They do, but you may get faster service (especially if it's just paint and not a dent or worse body damage) at a certified Collision Center.

If the paint repair is handled through Rivian at Certified Rivian repair shop, the paint repair is covered under the original vehicle warranty. If you don't, then the warranty for that repaired part transfers to the bodyshop who painted it and whatever they offer you as a warranty.

At least that is what I heard today while I was waiting to pick up my car at the SC today.
