I have been having some weird issues with my front/side parking sensors and now Driver+ car recognition. The sensors before the latest update refused to work and would only show the please clean your sensors” error. Rear sensors still worked ok at first. This was after giving the truck a hand wash. I tried software reset, hard reset, a sleep cycle and even the newest software updates in hope of it returning to normal. A service request was put in and I was able to select a date just over a month out for early December.
Now, after the new OTA update, All sensors half work and i think I have narrowed part of the issue down to the truck thinking it’s still going above the parking sensor speed threshold even when stopped. You can see this in the picture below. They will sometimes flick on for a second or two like they should but then immediately go back to either a blank screen or what is pictured below.
Just this week; however, I noticed the driver + now constantly confuses cars with motorcycles on the screen. You can also see it here quickly switching from parking sensor screen (what it would be showing) to driver+ screen. While I am sure this is a totally different issue, it still makes me wonder if I have some weird glitch going on.
