Poll: Operational Sun Roof

Would you like an option for an operational sunroof or some equivalent (e.g., removable panels)?)

every single Tesla lacks a sunroof and fortunately or unfortunately, Rivian benchmarked their vehicles against those when designing the R1. i dont miss it. i hardly use it in the vehicles i have that have it. id prefer a back window that lowers in the R1T. that would have been a cool touch.

Yes and no.
We use it in our truck (black) all the time in the summer.
It's pretty hot, (40 C 104 F +/-) so crack the sunroof open when we park at the beach to keep it cooler.

Crows nesting where I park at home dropped sticks on the roof of my truck. Jammed and broke the mechanism, as they got into the tracks. That was a royal PITA to fix (12 hour job) and the housing is all plastic with flimsy cables.

So be careful what you wish for.

Here is another vote for solid roof. The glass roof is by far the single worst thing I hate about the Rivian.

As others have said there are not enough options in this poll.
Initially I thought the panoramic roof was cool but they totally dropped the ball on no sunshade. There is way too much extreme temperatures radiating through. (Also what's with no heat pump?)
I would prefer a more cost effective/durable solid roof or some sort of solid panel/ed removable roof as this is an adventure vehicle after all.
