I'd say there is something wrong with your truck. I'd rate my suspension as pretty plush, even with the crap, sharp bumped streets that Dallas has.

I'm currently out of the country but when I'm back I have to schedule an appointment with the service center for another issue (GPS jumping in navigation). I'll inquire once more then.

I might also try to get in touch with @RivianNE and visit him to have his opinion on my R1T ride.

I said yes, but a little conflicted. About 2 weeks in at this point and the car is great but I do have some buyer's remorse. It's so expensive! It's so big! No CarPlay still sucks! It's pollen season in Atlanta so Storm Blue has turned vomit yellow!

Still puts a smile on my face when I drive it, especially out of town. Big road trip coming up will be the first real test.

Happy to. I am having the same GPS issue. It’s really just in Canada that I experienced it, not sure why. Quebec’s roads are next level, especially during this time of the year.

Love my T. Would buy again. There's nothing that delivers the utility, hilarity, and green/green of my Rivian.
I wouldn't buy new for the cost (right now anyway) and the fact you can't get the green interior anymore.

I do always kinda worry what "afford " means to someone. If they've got plenty of headroom but they just don't want to spend more than that, totally try to find a 60k R1. If that's the upper fiscal cap, well, I'd never suggest someone put themselves out there so exposed. Especially with a luxury purchase... you just never know what might happen and not have the funds to handle it. (Whether you consider it a luxury vehicle or not is immaterial; it's a luxury purchase)

No CarPlay still sucks!

I initially thought this would be an issue for me, but honestly, I’ve adjusted to the Apple Music app.

Yes, I paid for Connect+, but since I got $7k from Friends and Family discount, I’m not that concerned about a $400 expense over 3 years. Plus, my wife can use her iPad to surf the internet via the WiFi connection (our iPads don’t have data plans).

It's not the music for me - although I find Rivian's Apple Music app to be still kind of buggy. I want notifications of incoming texts and my podcast player. I also like to benchmark the navigation against Waze / Apple / ABRP but maybe I'll come to trust Rivian over time but I don't see the others going away.

There's just no way that any car company is going to keep up with apps - today it's Apple Music but it's always a moving target.

I voted no, just because maybe is not available. I am leasing and if the truck is worth less than my buyout, no, if the truck is worth more than I have to pay, probably. I really have my eye on the Telo truck, which would more than fit my bill. The truck is good, I do miss having some control not on a screen. The appeal of an EV is amazing and very addictive.

Yes, and No.. , so I'll skip the vote.. I would not buy "my" Rivian if it were in the original condition on day one, it had way too many cosmetic/mechanical/functional issues and I would not want to go through it again. Had it not been for the early buyer discount, I would have been very upset. Having said that, the condition it's in now is almost perfect, and I'd expect the Gen2 quality to be on par with what I'm driving now if not better.., so I would forgo QM, and just go with lower price and standard range DM. I'd much rather be in this car in an accident than some alternatives ..

I am a certified car nut who changes vehicles frequently. After 3 years and 46k miles I give my R1T the highest compliment i can give a vehicle…there remains nothing on the market I would consider to replace it.
