Nice information! I’m just driving by and taking a couple of pictures, sounds like maybe you are in the know a little more. Any guess when the grand opening will be?

From what I have heard, March/April is the target for completion, which works out great for my Q3 delivery estimate. I'd really rather not take delivery without an official SC local to me.

Same here, I wasn’t real happy waiting for the truck, but the bright side is I won’t have it long before the SC opens.

Had my First Mile drive today and the rep said the site is planned for completion this coming August, and that the temp SC on NW 23rd will continue to support the area in the interim.

I just drove by there today. If you live close-in to Portland it’s an awesome location. It’s also just off of the 5 for those in LO and Tualatin/Tigard. It’s just next to the RIB for those E/SE.

If they can manage the encampments across the street under the bridge then it’s a great location.

With the size of that parking lot, I am guessing they won't be storing any vehicles at this location, outside of ones being immediately delivered or serviced.

I’m so glad they have this one. The Tualatin shop is closer to Erath than my house in NoPo…especially with traffic.
It also took me 45 minutes to get a cab in Tualatin and I called a cab after Uber canceled/ failed on me twice.

Scheduled an appointment in Tualatin a few weeks ago, the earliest opening was May 15.

Got a call Monday saying. There was an opening Thursday (tomorrow.) Sure, sounds good!

Got another call yesterday to prepare for me to drop it off “tomorrow” meaning today. Wait, what, I thought it was Thursday. “We have you down for Wednesday, we have the opening if you want it:” Sure again!

Then he mentioned the downtown Portland location is opening “in a couple weeks”! That it should definitely be open by my originally scheduled May 15 date.

I drove by there on Monday, noticed they had the level 2 and DCFCs installed already on the outside. They still need to clean the outside of the building and get it painted the Rivian black and white colors, but it is certainly coming along!

That's really exciting! Nearly as exciting as my imminent delivery (my R1S is in PDX and about to go through PDI).

I have an appointment scheduled in the PDX service center on May 19th. I am somewhat indifferent on the location though the Tualatin location was pretty close to my work.
