Hi,

Is it safe to use a 3400 psi gas power washer on ceramic coating?

Yes just don't use the fine point tip. I usually use the 20° tip and don't stand too close. You're not trying to strip the paint off so if you wash with that in mind you're good.

Don't use anything sharper than the 40-degree nozzle, and keep your distance at least 16 inches.

Personally, I don't recommend that strong of a pressure washer for car detailing. Get a dedicated electric unit that keeps PSI low (around 1000) and GPM high (around 2GPM).

A great recommendation is the Active 2.0 with a 5.0 orifice 40-degree nozzle. 950 PSI @ 2.1GPM

The tips are usually color coded. I use the white one which is a 40° tip...on a 2200 PSI electric. Also make sure you keep it at least 12 to 18 in away from the surface.

I recommend a dedicated electric pressure washer for your car. You don't need really high pressure and it will save on gas.

You can increase the orifice/nozzle size of the gun to increase flow and reduce pressure

1k psi 2+ gal/min is the target for car washing

THIS! A cheap electric one works great, much quieter and easier than a gas one.
