Took delivery on Thursday. Vehicle is a beast, in a good way. A guy driving a Corvette tried to pass me on an onramp the other day, and the R1T was having none of it. A couple of comments and questions.
1. The outdoor/ambient temperature gauge seems to be roughly 5-10 degrees above actual temperature, and not just when I start driving (when it can be sky high i the car has been out in the sun). Anyone else notice this?
2. Driver seat floor mats: the anchors came out of the floor, and the mats don't stay in place. I placed a ticket for this. Anyone else have this issue?
3. Driver side road/wind noise is way more than I would expect from this vehicle. Lots of people seem to be having this. I placed another ticket for this.
4. Regen: took the truck to the top of Lee Canyon (northwest of Las Vegas) and then back down this weekend. The road from the top to the US-95 is about 17 miles and drops around 5,000-6,000 feet of elevation. Speed limit is mostly 55, I went a little over 60 most of the way with ACC on, all purpose mode. Range increased by 12 miles, or about 4-5% of the battery pack, by the end of the 17 mile descent. Of course, it churned through a lot of battery on the way up.
Riv on.
