Finally got my Lectron adapter yesterday! Headed to the closest Tesla supercharger in Madras, OR. Plugged in the adapter, plugged in the supercharger. R1T just started charging - 170KW or so. Finished up and received an email with the charges from Rivian seconds latter! Everything just worked = pretty damn cool!!

Looks this station is set up so you could approach from the opposite side, but a Tesla could then try to pull into that slot and try to charge. Oh wait—there is a charger for that side as well. I would not have noticed

The release lever is firm but I did not have any trouble pressing it - and I’m 74? both connectors slid right out. Interestingly at this supercharger I could pull in next to an end stall and a Tesla could still use the opposite side stall. Everyone would be happy!

Been waiting 5-6 weeks for my Lectron adapter; just got word couple days ago they’ll be shipping shortly. Happy that it works well. Also looking forward to using it with my Tesla 90A wall charger.

Not sure though if the Lectron adapter for SC network will work (DC vs AC) with Tesla wall charger. Probably need a 1772 adapter

I have the A2Z, works fine, but gets hot and slows charging. This seems to happen even to actual Teslas, and a wet towel helps.

EDITED for clarity: I don't think the adapter caused the problem. But wetting the adapter did fix it, and some of the water ran off onto the Tesla connector, helping all around. And yes, it's perfectly safe--remember that you can charge in the rain.

The world's best charging network ...
Agreed, definitely, by far. Now that I've gone from a Tesla to a Rivian, the loss of many chargers has been a very huge problem for road trips.

Yes, I'm just saying that it's far from perfect and far from the solution to all problems that many people are making it out to be. It has real-world problems just like other charging networks, and has real non-negligible downtimes just like other charging networks. (Read about how Tesla defines "uptime" for the supercharger network, for example - using that definition EA also has about a 100% "uptime".) The problems with the Tesla network are real, and the fraction of chargers that Tesla has currently opened to a fraction of CCS vehicles provide only a minimal benefit in many places. Still a good thing, but again not a game changer by any means, at least around here.
