I have had the truck not locking because of this, I have all proximity locking/unlocking off at home. What I found today is that if you look at the phone app, for location it will indicate "At Home", even when away from home. But when looking at the location on the phone map, it is correct.I also have this issue, and one thing i've noticed is that the truck sometimes thinks its somewhere else, which influences the proxy behaviour.
I think this is related to an issue with the maps functionality, which i've noticed since the previous update (connect +) doesn't load the drivers display map unless you have Nav selected on the main screen first when getting into the vehicle.
What i've noticed is that if I drive somewhere, and the maps app isn't selected on the main display during the drive, once I select it at the location i'm at, it first shows me being at the location I started driving, then quickly adjusts itself to where I currently am. It's almost like its caching the previous location and only updating once maps app is selected.
This had led me to see the following situations:
1. I leave home and go somewhere else (don't open maps) - Proxy lock doesn't work, truck will stay unlocked if I walk away as it assumes its still at home
2. I drive home from somewhere else (while at the other place or enroute I had looked at the map page, but it was not up when I got home) - Proxy lock is enabled when at home as truck doesn't think its at home
3. Drive home from somewhere else with map page on - Proxy lock is disabled as it should be while at home
4. Drive away from home to another location with map page on - Proxy lock is enabled as truck knows its location is not home
Overall, seems like some sort of location bug, coupled with the nav maybe being in some dormant / sleep mode until you press the nav button on main display...
Here are the steps I did with my truck parked away from home:
1) Opened up the map in the truck, it had the correct location. Walked away with the phone, it did not lock.
2) Soft reset, then walked away from the truck. Did not lock.
3) Hard reset, then walked away from the truck. It locked.
The phone location indicated at home, up until step 3.
