R1 not charging in Canada

Hi, I lovvvve my Rivian. I’m road tripping in Montreal. My R1 isn’t charging at the Hydro Quebec charging stations. I’ve tried 4 different stations and vehicle isn’t allowing charge each time. Anyone know what to do? Thank you.

You'd need to provide a bit more details on what the error is.

Also, did you download the app? Both Circuit Electrique and Flow apps should allow you to start a session.

In August I drove from the US through Quebec and used Flo and Cirque Electric without issue. By using the app.

electrify Canada and Tesla also worked for me in Canada

Thank you for your response. I did download the app. When I plug in, the charger screen reads the vehicle and then the vehicle ends session. It never even begins. I’ve paid 50 bucks 3 times to begin and gotten no charge. I will try again shortly and take pics of the charge port screen prompts.

So strange but your msg gives me hope. So hydro Quebec and electric circuit are the same thing. For some reason my session is being ended by my Rivian. I’m wondering if maybe there’s a 24 hour processing time with the app that has to finish before I can charge?

If the charge fails three times in a row, you might need to do a full reboot to allow it to charge again. It's a safety built into the vehicle that they don't announce to the user for some reason.

THE REBOOT WORKED!!!! Thank you so much for your help. I did the reboot just like you suggested. I let it complete the full cycle, I plugged in and the charge began instantly.

OP, glad you got it solved. Not to highjack the thread, but I was in Victoria this spring, and I could charge everywhere just fine except for Tesla. I have an account and use the Tesla chargers regularly in the US, but I couldn't get any stations to work. Anyone have any ideas? It's been a while so I can't recall exactly what happened, but I think it just sat on Connecting or something like that.
