R1 Shop Access Granted!

I just got a note that I will be getting setup with Shop access in the next day or two! Some burning questions I can't find all the answers to about the shop:

1. Can I still get matched with a Vin with my exact config while I have shop access? Or does that get paused? My window is Feb/March, so was expecting a match soon anyway.

2. How do you navigate to the shop? does a new tab show up on rivian.com? Or is there a special url? I know you get an email alert with a link, but thinking that is likely delayed to when you actually get access.

3. How long do you have access to the shop? Is it forever or is there a window and it goes away?

4. Do you get any sense of ETA from the shop? For example, maybe 1 is arriving at the SC tomorrow but another is just coming off the line.

1)yes as long as you don’t select anything from the shop you will still be in line to get matched to your original config.

2)once you log into your account there will be a banner on top of the page in green that when clicked will direct you to the shop.

3)I’m not sure of this. Some have had 1-2 weeks some more. You can ask to get invited again once it expires.

4) the header on the shop says expect 6-8 weeks to delivery of a selected vehicle. That said there are some circumstances where shop vehicles are already at the service center, in those cases it’s a much faster delivery. Other vehicles may still be at Normal or in transport so will take longer.

Q1: Not sure but possibly.
Q2: Click on the configuration you like to see the details of that vehicle. This is all “happening” within your Rivian account window.
Q3: 1 week imy guide told me. After that, you can request additional access if you still haven’t picked one.
Q4: No cues as to what’s coming and when. Think fast. Act quickly. Decide/know what you can live with already. Many are looking at the same inventories at the same time. I missed out on configurations i may have picked because I didn’t ask smart questions like you. 8) Goodluck!

Thanks and I already built out a google sheet with all options and if they are acceptable or not. If I get an option that's 100% in the green, I'm going to pull the trigger right away. I'll be happy with anything as long as it's NOT black, El Cap, or red, NOT 22" wheels, and has at least a manual or an auto tonneau cover. I'd prefer 20" wheels (any of the 3 options), but I'd accept the 21" wheels and maybe get a 2nd set down the road.

Nice! This would be my service area (once I have shop access). Not sure I'd pull the trigger on any of those if I had access now.

Same here. I caved and grabbed a red canyon with black mtn-dark ash, and 20” AT bright wheel and tire. I didn’t really care for the 20” tire but that was the only choice.

19 R1T’s in Los Angeles—lots of yellows, underbody shields, 22” dark wheels, even a powered tonneau! Same configs appear to be in different regions—I guess those trucks are sitting at the Normal factory lot.

I see most of those in Denver, but never saw the Limestone or the El Cap with PTC.

Thanks for sharing. Man, one of those (I wont say which ) is tempting!! Guide said 2-3 days I'll have Los Angeles shop access. So that's tomorrow or Sunday!

I saved my previous config as a PDF. This is a screenshot of the pre March pricing for accessories (at least ones I had optioned).

I just realized while browsing the gear shop that the Cargo Crossbars are currently listed as the same price as pre march ($450), as are the all weather floor mats ($175). The wall charger is listed at $800 and no spare listed as of yet. I went ahead and ordered the crossbars since theyre at the same price as they were before the accessory removal from the configurator.
