R1S Buzz Saw Sound

After I drive for 10-15 min the right rear of my R1S starts to sound like a buzz saw. It actually gets pretty loud. The noise is induced by any sort of acceleration. The faster the car goes the faster the buzz saw goes. When at highway speed it’s just a constant buzz. and coasting I can’t hear it.
If I put it in conserve mode it definitely goes away completely so definitely just affects the rear. I did try different ride heights. That doesn’t change the behavior at all.
I called Rivian and they scheduled a SC appt for April 19th. The soonest they had in Bellevue. Anyone else experience this and if so what is the fix? The sound is really annoying.

Rear drive unit? Conserve mode disengages it.

If it stops when you go to Conserve, there may be something critically wrong with your rear drive unit - somewhere. It might be the actuation mechanism that locks the axle, the gearbox, something super weird in the driveshaft, etc.

Looking forward to hearing it from the video. I’d be pushing Rivian hard to get it seen ASAP were I in your position.

My son said something similar. If it were and ICE vehicle i would probably still hear it.
