I've seen a few interviews with Rivian personnel. It seems that the changes to the suspension involve a few part changes that seem to have made a big difference.

I'm looking forward to seeing someone get a Gen 2 on a lift next to a Gen 1 so the differences can be itemized.

I assume the Suspension pick up points are all the same, and in theory the new spring/airbags could be swapped over.

I'm worried about hydraulic proportioning valves/system being a big change but let's say you leave that part Gen1 and only change the rest.

Assuming you swapped all the hardware over I think the new integrated ECU's that control the new suspension would be where it falls apart.. Gen1 electronics might not be able compatible/able to do the new ride control.

I Don't know how much of the new ride is due to hardware vs hardware and software and how much gain you can have without retrofitting both.
