R1S Limestone ordered!!

Super excited! We put a deposit down for a AWD Ford Mustang Mach-E in June but had to cancel after learning more about Rivian.
It just makes more sense with our lifestyle. We went with the R1S Limestone 20" All terrain wheels with dark interior!
Fingers crossed that we get our car sometime in 2022!!!

I just reserved in Oct. I think I’m going to have to buy a car since my current German car is giving me tons of issues. I don’t think it will make it to 2023. I’m guessing I will take delivery in 2024 so looking at cars now. Even the Genesis GV80 want $70k!

Don't laugh so much about the 2022, he's just excited for the order and probably has not been following everything as closely as everyone else.

Realistic expectations for a new R1S order is that nobody has any idea The R1T is now in production but fairly limited. We're hoping there are some real deliveries by the end of the year or it might not start in earnest until after Jan or even early spring. They expected to deliver a handful (25) R1S this year but those would also probably be employee only deliveries if they happen at all.

Rivian has said as of a few weeks ago (I think?) that they were hoping to get through all existing preorders by the end of 2023. That would mean a new one today might push into 2024.

Congrats on your order and we're all super excited for ours, but seems like it's still going to be a while.
