I saw that there are some fridges designed specifically for the sub trunks in Teslas. I think the subtrunk / spare tire well of the R1s is a perfect place for a fridge (since the spare isnt even full size) and it’s larger than the ones in a Tesla (plus have close access to 12v and ac power). There are a few that will fit in the subtrunk but they don’t make the best use of the space given its shape. Does anyone know of any projects to make a custom fridge for the subtrunk? Or is there a particular model of 12v fridge that takes the most advantage of the space and still ventilates well?

Has anyone come up with something for this?

I have been using a plug in fridge in the back of my SUVs for 20+ years. I love them, but they do take up a good bit of space. A fridge that fit nicely in the wheel well would be awesome!

I have an ICEGO20 that fits in the Frunk, Gear Tunnel or Bed along with a Bluetti power station. I plug fridge into power station and power station into truck. Can then add solar while parked at soccer game to keep station powered up while at the fields for the day. Station runs the fridge for about 15 hours 100-0 @ 34F.
