Was it really missing then? With pictures of grease-covered parts it was hard for me to tell if this was a case of it being there and hiding under grease as @crashmtb mentioned, or if it wasn’t there at all. If it wasn’t there, I wonder if it was installed, failed, and fell off. Given what @crashmtb wrote about the witness marks that’s more likely than it not ever being installed. I think.You are wise beyond your years! Thanks!
