R1T delivery timeline

Hi All, I have ordered a custom build R1T last week. Could you please share your delivery timeline for recent orders? My configuration has been confirmed with a delivery between Sep and Oct, when am I supposed to receive the call from the guide? Thank you

Congrats on your new order! I can’t speak to recent order times, but I would encourage you to be very proactive in getting updates and answers along the way.

Rivian has always struggled with the Guide experience. Some folks got lucky and had a helpful guide but I would say most either never heard from their guide or rarely heard from them. So be polite but pushy and you will be happier than if you sit back and wait for them to contact you.

I would expect with a custom order it would take a bit longer than a shop order, but Rivian has been much quicker at production than they used to be. Hopefully someone with a recent order and delivery can give you more insight into the length of time.

You will be very happy once you get past this part and are driving your new truck

Guides aren't a thing anymore. I was never assigned a guide. Instead I had someone at my local service center reach out as my "guide"

Once your vehicle is build (really depending on how custom your R1T is), it will take another 1 to 4 weeks to transport from Normal IL to your destination
1 week by Truck
4 weeks by Train.

Interesting, I ordered my custom R1T in late June and my delivery window is Oct-Nov.
I did reach out to my Guide this week about any updates to my delivery window and she confirmed all Tri-Max R1T's would start being delivered in October.

The next step for us will be for Rivian to assign a VIN, then the process/paperwork should start soon afterwards
