R1T gen 2 radar sensor issues + more

Recently leased Gen 2 R1T has more problems than I had anticipated.

- The radar sensors are working on and off. Often upon start-up they are deactivated and either come on after some time or after a hard reset.
- Cameras on the dash fail to work when using the turn signals
- Display screens don’t automatically switch from day time to night time mode
- General trim and fit and finish issues

The truck is at a Rivian Center and the techs haven’t been able to figure out what’s going on with the faulty radar and need more time to investigate. They haven’t been able to replicate the problem. I’ve captured the diagnostics so I can only hope that helps them get to the root of the problem.

One more issue: the rear display in the cabin doesn’t always display the graphics on the screen correctly. In particular, the temperature digits are cut off because they’re covered by other elements. RIV tells me that’s a common Gen 2 issue. The Gen 1 R1S I owned previously had none of the tech issues I’ve had with my R1T. It had its fair share of production fit and finish problems.
