Ya, I go back and forth between being disappointed and appreciative that the issue is caught pre-delivery vs post.

The problem now is that it appears the service center doesn’t know how to fix it and is trying to contact engineers. Reading between the lines, I don’t think they have got in touch so there might be communication problems internally, which is…. just… great…

I was at the SLC service center today, and about 1/3 of the ~25 trucks sitting outside were Forest edge. 2/3 black mountain.

Guess I am one of the lucky ones (knock on wood). Gave up on the 20" Darks after guide contacted me about changing those out to get quicker delivery. She said it may be over a month before she sees those available again for some reason (batching?). Texted her back and said I'd be happy with the regular 20" ATs. I went to twraps.com and ordered some black carbon fiber vinyl wrap covers for the silver spokes. Figured I'd give those a try and if I don't like them then just go powdercoat route. Regradless, she matched me with truck in 10 minutes. 8 Step process took about a day. Just got text that truck passed all inspections today. I'm actually going to be in NYC Friday so taking delivery in Brooklyn at 9:30 and then heading home to Indy area! Fingers crossed.

My truck's at the San Diego center. Stopped by yesterday and saw it. Spoke with delivery manager and setup a pickup appt this Saturday at noon. Fingers-crossed it goes smoothly through the final PDI in the next couple days and I actually get it this weekend.

Can someone who has a guide ask if the 22s are causing delays? Seeing a lot of 20s and very few 22s. I'd ask my guide, if I had one. Thanks!

Got my 8 steps unlocked this morning. Stuck waiting on manual review of my trade-in. Planning to take delivery at the SC so hoping I could as early as this weekend, depending on how fast I can get through the 8 steps. Step 8 notes the truck is still being prepared, so I assume doing final PDI at the SC and still a chance something is wrong and it gets cancelled on me. VIN is #4523

Crazy how different FG looks in different lighting. In shadows it’s a deep darker green. In direct sunlight, the lighter Army green. I bet most people seeing those two pics would say they are definitely different trucks.
