I think you would be surprised on the comp to the R1S. Really the only loss is about 1/2 a foot to the cargo area. The rear seat is significantly larger than the T and I think about 15% more room than the S.Probably little to no direct impact. They are all still low volume vehicles and R2 is simply too small for many R1 owners. Personally I'm on the fence as to whether I can live with the huge hit in storage & usefulness if I trade my R1T for an R2, but the latest tech would be nice. However there is no way we would trade my wife's R1S to downsize.
