Got into a very heated debate with my friend about how my R1T was faster than his Tesla MS. I was sadly mistaken. Still — fastest truck pounding the pavement! And yes — I’d take it over the CT!

Aren't the plaid S Teslas the fastest production car ever? Not just evIf you’re talking about a Plaid model S, that is definitely true. The Plaid Teslas are the fastest production EVs available. Any Rivian should be faster than a regular model S though. Not by a bunch, but faster.
My 2016 Model S has a 4.3 second 0-60 so not as quick as my R1S with a 3.0 but with a 139 mph top speed certainly faster.Got into a very heated debate with my friend about how my R1T was faster than his Tesla MS. It’s right there but I believe there are a couple cars a fraction of a second quicker. The Dodge challenger SRT Demon and Rimac come to mind.Aren't the plaid S Teslas the fastest production car ever? Not just ev
sold our refreshed Model S last month (getting our R1S soon). We have an R1T quad and it sure doesn‘t feel as uncomfortably fast as the Tesla even though the listed times are both around 3.1 secondsIf you’re talking about a Plaid model S, that is definitely true. I haven never driven a Model S, nor have I ever owned a vehicle as quick as my Rivian, but I feel like it’s pretty well composed at high speeds.
