Has anyone else experienced the terrible wind buffeting with the rear windows down? I think it’s the worst I’ve ever heard/felt. Normally I do not run with the windows down, but when I have in other vehicles I don’t remember ever having it be this bad. I’m in the unfortunate situation right now because my AC is not working so I need to have the windows down. One front and one opposite rear is great but both rear is a no go at speed.
Anyone put on the rain deflectors? Has that helped?

I always just crack an opposing window. It's one of the reasons I didn't mind the passenger front window being locked from being opened as even just that window would cause buffeting in certain situations.

My name is Mike, and I have a (car) problem
I’ve never had a car where I could only open the rear windows and not feel like my eardrums were going to blow out.

The buffeting is bad on the R1T, but IMO no worse than any other vehicle I’ve owned. Was so bad on my last Tundra I’d actually lock out the windows so my kids didn’t accidentally deafen me.

Needs a back window to open like all other trucks. As others said no worse than other vehicles without such opening. This feature and 3 more inches leg room in back would be perfect truck for me.

No worse than other vehicles I’ve had. Dark-FX’s opposite window strategy is an excellent approach.

Maybe try opening the front window. I drive around with all of them open and I have no issues. It’s better then my model y was.

That will happen to me if I only crack or open the rear window. My 2007 Sportrac has a drop rear window and sunroof - I usually have to crack a front window or sunroof if I have the rear window down. Anxious to see how that works in the R2
