If they follow the model of the R1's, they will charge extra for anything other than White or Silver. I think we paid $2,500 extra for our Rivian Blue.

Yeah, so I originally spec'd out an LA silver R1T last July, but, but, but -- it was going to be a 9-12 week estimated delivery, which risked loosing out on the $7500 incentive. Not only does silver do the best job of hiding dirt, it was "free"

So, Rivian calls and says like, we do have an R1T that has all your options EXCEPT it's in Forest Green, do you like Green?

Now, I happen to love green, it's my favorite color, I just don't like it $2500 MORE than silver! But at the time, I feared missing out on the $7500 incentive, so I agreed to get the green, spending $2500 to save $7500.

Then, a few weeks later, after I took delivery, the guv'ment says, okay, so long as you order by Sept, you still get the $7500!

And yes, the Forest Green looks great, when it's clean -- a drive or two later, you can absolutely see every spec of dirt. Ah, well, drats!

Any indications of interior colors yet? Probably too soon, I know, but I'd love to see an interior with earth tones, maybe saddle tan or even a redwood brown color. Rivian seems to avoid these colors, which runs counter to the earthy 'adventure' image, imho. My fav so far from Rivian so far is the Sandstone that is unique to the limited Dune edition - but even that is lighter than I would prefer. I dislike an all black interior.
Thoughts?

I agree a tan interior is very nice. Black is way too hot, think it is an insane color to get unless you live way up north or in PNW with limited sunlight. I got the grayish white interior which is better than black, but ehh.

Done well, Tan can be very luxurious, and with the Forest green exterior is very "old-money British sports car".

What're we looking at here? Are these confirmed color options? Or just artistic liberties?

Imo, will never buy another vehicle with a black (too hot) or "boring" gray interior again. And white is out, too. You can have my Forest Edge interior when you pry it from my cold, dead hands.

That is an exceptional interior. I wish that had been an option for Arjuan, just black and grey were the only choices.
